Senior Town Planner – Leeds

£55,000 – £65,000 DOE

An established and highly regarded planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join its growing Leeds team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced planner who is looking to take the next step in their career, working on a strong portfolio of interesting and varied projects across the UK.

You’ll be joining an established consultancy with an excellent reputation in the market, where you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with senior colleagues and clients, take ownership of your projects and continue developing your career.

The role

You’ll be involved in a broad range of planning projects, providing planning advice to clients, managing applications and appeals, undertaking research and helping to deliver successful outcomes across a varied workload.

The role would suit someone with strong private-sector planning experience who is confident dealing with clients and stakeholders and is keen to progress within a successful consultancy.

About you

• Several years’ experience within town planning, ideally within a consultancy environment

• MRTPI or working towards Chartered status

• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Confident managing your own caseload and working directly with clients

• A proactive approach with ambitions to progress your career
