Senior Town Planner – Cardiff City Centre

£40,000 – £45,000 DOE

An established and highly regarded town planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join its team in Cardiff City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planner looking to take the next step in their career, joining a well-established consultancy with a strong reputation and a varied portfolio of projects.

You’ll be working alongside experienced planning professionals, taking responsibility for your own projects and clients while having the opportunity to further develop your career within a supportive and ambitious team.

The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you’ll be involved across a varied range of planning projects, providing planning advice, managing applications and appeals, carrying out research and working closely with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders.

You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your workload while working as part of a collaborative Cardiff team.

About You

• Previous experience working within town planning

• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system

• MRTPI or working towards Chartered status would be advantageous

• Confident managing your own workload and dealing directly with clients

• Strong communication and report-writing skills

• A proactive approach with a genuine interest in progressing your planning career
