Senior Town Planner – Kent

I’m currently working with an established and leading town planning consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join their team in Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner looking to take the next step in their career, joining a highly regarded consultancy with a strong reputation and an interesting portfolio of planning projects.

The role

You’ll be involved in a varied range of planning projects, providing planning advice to clients, managing planning applications and projects, and working closely with clients, consultants and local authorities.

You’ll also have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, develop client relationships and support more junior members of the team.

What they’re looking for

• Previous experience within a town planning consultancy

• Strong understanding of the UK planning system

• Experience managing planning applications and projects

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

• MRTPI or working towards chartership would be advantageous

• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
