Senior Town Planner – Birmingham

We’re currently working with a highly regarded planning consultancy in Birmingham who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a planner looking to progress their career within a well-established consultancy, working on a varied portfolio of projects across the residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors.

The Role

You’ll be involved in a range of planning projects, providing advice to clients, preparing and submitting planning applications, managing projects and working closely with local authorities and other professional consultants.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, develop client relationships and play an important role in supporting junior members of the team.

About You

• Previous experience within a planning consultancy
• Ideally 4+ years’ experience, although candidates with more or less experience will be considered
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commercially aware with good client management skills
• MRTPI or working towards chartership would be advantageous
