I’m currently working with an established town planning consultancy that is looking to appoint an Associate Director or Director of Planning to join their growing team in the East Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planning professional looking to take the next step in their career, with the chance to play a key role in the continued growth and development of an established consultancy.

The role

You’ll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of planning projects, providing strategic planning advice to clients and overseeing projects from inception through to completion.

The role will also involve developing client relationships, supporting business development and playing an important role in mentoring and developing more junior members of the team.

What they’re looking for

• Experienced Town Planner operating at Associate Director or Director level

• Strong consultancy background

• Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI)

• Excellent knowledge of the UK planning system

• Strong project and client management experience

• Commercially minded with the ability to develop new and existing client relationships

• Experience mentoring and supporting junior planners
