I’m currently working with an established town planning consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their team in Shrewsbury.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced planner looking to take the next step in their career, working on a varied range of planning projects while being part of an established and supportive consultancy.

The role

You’ll be involved in a range of planning projects, providing planning advice to clients, preparing and submitting planning applications, managing projects and working closely with clients, consultants and local authorities.

The role would suit a Senior Town Planner with consultancy experience who is looking for interesting work, career progression and the opportunity to develop their career within an established planning practice.

What they’re looking for

• Previous experience working within a planning consultancy

• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system

• Experience managing planning applications and projects

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

• MRTPI or working towards chartership would be advantageous

• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
