Job Title: Principal Planner / Associate Planner
Location: Cornwall (St Austell area)
Salary: 50k – 60k+ (DOE)
About the Role
An established and growing planning consultancy is seeking an experienced and ambitious Chartered Planner to join its Cornwall-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Planner or Associate-level professional looking to lead projects, develop client relationships, and contribute to business growth across a varied and high-quality portfolio.
The role offers exposure to a diverse range of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure, energy, and heritage, working with clients ranging from national developers to private individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing planning projects from inception through to completion
- Preparing planning appraisals, applications, and appeals
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting and contributing to business development activities
- Delivering clear, commercially focused planning advice
Requirements
- Chartered Planner (RTPI Member)
- Strong and broad planning experience across multiple sectors
- Good commercial awareness of development and consultancy
- Ability to manage projects independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (exceptions may be considered)
