Job Title: Senior Associate Planner
Location: Hertfordshire (Harpenden area)
Salary: £75k+ (DOE)
About the Role
An established and growing planning consultancy is seeking an experienced Chartered Planner to join its Hertfordshire office at Senior Associate level. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to head up the local team, manage a diverse portfolio of projects, and play a central role in driving business growth in the region.
You will work across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure, energy, and heritage, advising clients from national developers to private individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the Hertfordshire planning team
- Overseeing planning projects from inception through to completion
- Preparing planning appraisals, applications, and appeals
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying and leading business development opportunities
- Contributing to the wider business strategy and growth
Requirements
- Chartered Planner (RTPI Member)
- Strong and broad planning experience across multiple sectors
- Proven experience within consultancy and development
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive business growth
- Strong commercial awareness
- Full UK driving licence
