Town Planner – Dorset
I’m currently working with a well-established and growing planning consultancy that is looking to appoint a Town Planner to join its team in the Dorset area.
This is a great opportunity for a Planner at an early to mid-stage in their career to join a supportive and collaborative environment, working across a varied portfolio of projects including residential, rural, and mixed-use developments.
The Role
You will be involved in preparing and submitting planning applications, supporting on appeals, undertaking site appraisals, and liaising with clients, local authorities, and consultants. You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of projects while developing your technical and commercial skills.
What they’re looking for:
- Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
- Previous experience within a consultancy or local authority
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
