Zodiac Recruitment are proud to be representing a highly respected town planning consultancy based in Leeds City Centre, who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious planner to take the next step in their career, working within a dynamic consultancy that delivers a wide range of high-profile and exciting projects across multiple sectors.

The Role:
As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in leading and delivering planning projects, managing client relationships, and supporting junior members of the team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work while contributing to the continued success and growth of the consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects from inception to completion
• Preparing and submitting complex planning applications and appeals
• Providing strategic planning advice to clients
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants
• Mentoring and supporting junior planners

Requirements:

• Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
• MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
• Proven experience within a planning role, ideally in consultancy
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and processes
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
