  • Assist in coordinating consultant teams for planning submissions and appeals
  • Undertake site appraisals, including analysis of planning policy, housing need, and site constraints
  • Monitor progress of planning applications, appeals, and local plan documents
  • Liaise with local authorities, planning officers, and key stakeholders
  • Support community consultation and engagement activities

  • Maintain accurate planning records and programmes
  • Assist with appeal statements and supporting documentation

About You

  • Degree in Town Planning or related discipline (RTPI accredited preferred)
  • MRTPI qualified or working towards Chartership
  • Circa 2–5 years’ experience in a housebuilder, consultancy, or local authority
  • Good understanding of the UK planning system, including policy and development management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to take ownership of tasks
  • Confident engaging with stakeholders and consultants
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (GIS or other planning tools beneficial)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Discretionary bonus scheme
  • Car allowance (with salary sacrifice scheme available)
  • 25 days’ holiday (rising to 27 with service)
  • Pension scheme
  • Life assurance and income protection
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Health cash plan (optional)
  • Employee house purchase discount scheme

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking housebuilder and develop your career within a supportive and growth-focused environment.
