This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of high-profile projects while playing a key role in client management and mentoring junior team members.
The Role
As a Senior Planner, you’ll lead on a range of complex planning projects across sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and regeneration schemes throughout London and the South East.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing planning applications and appeals from inception to determination
- Leading client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Preparing and reviewing planning statements, reports, and supporting documents
- Providing strategic planning advice to clients and stakeholders
- Mentoring and supporting junior planners within the team
- Engaging with local authorities, consultants, and wider project teams
About You
- Demonstrable experience in a planning role (consultancy or local authority)
- MRTPI qualified (or working towards with significant progress)
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, particularly within London
- Proven ability to manage projects independently
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
