The Role:
As a Senior Planner, you will manage and deliver planning projects from inception through to approval, liaising with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities. You’ll play a key role in shaping development proposals and ensuring the successful delivery of a range of complex and high-profile projects.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and EIARs

Providing strategic planning advice and project management across multiple sectors

Supporting junior team members and contributing to the company’s professional development culture

Engaging with clients, statutory bodies, and communities to ensure effective consultation and communication

Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to bids and tenders

Staying informed on national and regional planning policies to provide accurate and forward thinking advice
About You:

Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline (IPI or RTPI accredited)

Relevant planning experience, ideally in consultancy or private practice

Strong knowledge of Irish planning legislation and policy frameworks

Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
