The Role:
As a Town Planner, you’ll work closely with senior colleagues and clients to provide expert advice throughout the planning process. Your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals

Conducting planning research and site appraisals
-
Drafting planning statements, design and access statements, and reports
-
Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and external consultants
-
Supporting senior planners on large-scale or complex developments
About You:
-
RTPI-accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
-
Ideally 2-4 years’ experience in planning, gained within consultancy, development, or local authority

Strong understanding of UK planning policy and procedures
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ambitious, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects efficiently
-
Working towards (or already achieved) MRTPI status
