Planning Consultant
Chester
Salary: depending on skills and experience
Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Planning Consultant to join their Chester based team. The successful candidate will be working within an established team of planners, delivering expert planning advice to their clients and working on a wide variety of large scale renewables, infrastructure and residential schemes.
Qualifications and experience:
- Chartered Member of the RTPI (or close to submitting)
- Demonstrable experience within the planning industry, working within a consultancy or local authority
Duties:
- Taking up the role of project lead on a variety of projects across the North of England
- Mentoring junior members of the team
- Actively contributing to the further growth of the team and workload
- Preparing and submitting applications and appeals
- Attending client meetings and planning committees
