We are working with an established and highly respected planning consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Planning Director to play a key role within its growing team in Oxfordshire.
This is a senior-level opportunity for a commercially minded planning professional who enjoys working closely with clients, leading complex projects and contributing to the strategic growth of a consultancy.
The Role
As Planning Director, you will:
- Lead a diverse portfolio of complex planning projects
- Provide high-level strategic planning advice to clients
- Manage key client relationships and develop new opportunities
- Oversee planning applications, appeals and major development projects
- Provide leadership and guidance to the wider planning team
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Contribute to the strategic direction and continued growth of the consultancy
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Significant experience within a private planning consultancy
- A strong track record of delivering complex planning projects
- Excellent knowledge of the UK planning system
- Strong commercial and business development skills
- Proven experience managing client relationships
- Leadership and team management experience
- MRTPI or equivalent professional accreditation
