We are working with a highly regarded planning consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Associate Director to join their established team in Oxfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner looking to take the next step into a senior leadership role, with responsibility for managing projects, developing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the business.
The Role
As an Associate Director, you will:
- Lead and manage a varied portfolio of planning projects
- Provide strategic planning advice to clients
- Manage and develop key client relationships
- Oversee planning applications and complex projects
- Support and mentor junior and senior members of the team
- Contribute to business development and winning new instructions
- Work closely with senior leadership on the growth of the consultancy
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Significant experience within a planning consultancy
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
- A proven track record of managing complex planning projects
- Excellent client management and communication skills
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
- Strong commercial awareness and business development experience
- MRTPI or equivalent professional accreditation
