I'm currently working with a Local Authority in Surrey that is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Planning Officer to support their Development Management team on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior planner seeking exposure to high-profile and complex projects, with a particular focus on:

Major planning applications and strategic development schemes, Preparing and presenting committee reports.Managing planning appeals and Public Inquiries.Working with key stakeholders, applicants, consultants and legal teams and Providing expert planning advice on complex and contentious applications
