🚨 Senior Planning Policy Officer – Local Authority Contract 🚨

I'm currently working with a Local Authority looking to bring in an experienced Senior Planning Policy Officer on a 6-month rolling contract to support a busy Planning Policy team through a critical stage of their Local Plan process.
📍 Hybrid Working – 1 day per week in the office/Fortnightly
💷 £40-£50 per hour DOE
📅 6-Month Rolling Contract
The successful candidate will play a key role in progressing the Local Plan through Regulation 19, including:
✅ Reviewing and responding to consultation representations
✅ Drafting consultation response reports and topic papers
✅ Preparing supporting evidence and submission documentation
✅ Working closely with senior officers, consultants and stakeholders
✅ Supporting the authority's progression towards examination
This opportunity would suit someone with recent Local Authority Planning Policy experience and a strong understanding of the Local Plan process, particularly around Regulation 19 and consultation management.
