Planner/Senior Town Planner
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office

Carrington West are representing an independent planning consultancy who is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Town Planner to join its growing team in Newcastle. This is an opportunity to become part of a well-established consultancy delivering a diverse and exciting portfolio of projects across residential developments of all scales, town centre regeneration schemes, commercial projects, retail developments and leisure-led developments, while benefiting from a collaborative and flexible working environment.

Key responsibilities:
·Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects across multiple sectors
·Preparing and submitting planning applications and supporting documents
·Providing strategic planning advice to clients
·Building and maintaining strong client relationships
·Liaising with local authorities, consultants and stakeholders

Requirements:
·Chartered status (MRTPI) is essential
·Previous experience within a planning consultancy or relevant planning environment
·Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system
·Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
·Commercial awareness and strong client-facing skills
