I'm working with a well-established independent planning consultancy with an outstanding reputation across the South West. They're looking to appoint a Senior Planner through to Associate to join their growing team and take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects spanning residential, commercial, mixed-use, renewable energy, heritage and rural development.

This is a role where you'll have real autonomy, build long-term client relationships, mentor junior planners and help shape the future direction of the business—all within a collaborative, supportive environment where your ideas are genuinely valued.

What you'll be doing

• Leading planning projects from appraisal through to determination and appeal.
• Providing strategic planning advice to a wide range of private and public sector clients.
• Managing client relationships and becoming a trusted adviser.
• Supporting business development and helping grow an already successful consultancy.
• Working alongside an experienced, collaborative team on a diverse range of developments across the South West.

About you

• MRTPI qualified.
• Experience within planning consultancy or a similar private sector environment.
• Confident managing projects and building strong client relationships.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
• Ambitious, proactive and looking for genuine career progression.
