A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Planner to join a highly respected planning consultancy in Bristol.

I'm working with a growing consultancy that has built an excellent reputation across the South West and nationally, advising on a broad range of residential, commercial, mixed-use, regeneration, and strategic land projects. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an Associate-level planner.

This position offers the chance to take on a leadership role within the business, manage key client relationships, and play an active part in the future growth of the Bristol office.

The Role:

• Leading and managing a diverse portfolio of planning projects.
• Providing strategic planning advice to clients across multiple sectors.
• Preparing and overseeing planning applications, appeals, and site promotions.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting and mentoring junior planners within the team.
• Assisting with business development activities and identifying new opportunities.
• Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and public consultations.

About You:

• MRTPI qualified.
• Strong consultancy or private-sector planning background.
• Proven experience managing projects and client accounts.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development.
• Ambitious and looking to progress within a dynamic consultancy environment.
