Planning Enforcement Officer – Lincolnshire
Contract Length: 6 Months
Rate: £45–£50 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid – Office attendance once a fortnight
We are currently working with a Local Authority in Lincolnshire seeking an experienced Planning Enforcement Officer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied and interesting caseload, handling a broad range of planning enforcement matters from investigation through to resolution. The role offers a high degree of flexibility, with office attendance required only once every two weeks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse planning enforcement caseload
- Investigating alleged breaches of planning control
- Preparing enforcement notices and related documentation
- Conducting site visits and liaising with stakeholders
- Providing professional planning enforcement advice
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within a Local Authority planning enforcement team
- Strong knowledge of planning legislation and enforcement procedures
- Ability to manage cases independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Rate negotiable depending on experience.
