What you’ll be doing:
You’ll play a hands-on role across multiple projects, gaining exposure to the full planning process. Day-to-day, this will include:
- Drafting and submitting planning applications
- Carrying out site appraisals and policy research
- Working closely with clients, consultants, and local authorities
- Supporting on appeals and more complex planning strategies
- Assisting senior colleagues on larger-scale developments
What they’re looking for:
This role would suit someone who already has a grounding in planning and is keen to develop further:
- Experience within a consultancy or local authority environment
- A relevant planning degree
- Progress towards MRTPI (or plans to start)
- Strong written skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, team-oriented approach
