An established planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in Reading. The Role

As part of a dynamic planning team, you will support and lead on a range of planning projects, providing strategic advice to clients and guiding developments through the planning process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and submitting planning applications

• Managing projects through the planning process

• Supporting on planning appeals and site promotion

• Providing strategic planning advice to clients

• Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants

• Contributing to business development and client relationships

About You

We are looking for a motivated planner who is keen to develop their career within the private sector.

Requirements include:

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline

• Membership of, or working towards membership of, the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)

• Experience working within a planning consultancy, developer, or planning environment

• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system

• Excellent communication and report writing skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
