My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Local Plan Officer to support the next stage of their Local Plan process. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a key planning project with a flexible working arrangement and a well-supported team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in finalising the Regulation 19 version of the Local Plan
- Draft initial sections of the Local Plan in collaboration with the policy team
- Prepare and maintain a robust evidence base to support policy development
- Respond to Local Plan consultations and coordinate feedback
- Attend occasional evening meetings when the Local Plan is on the agenda
Role Details:
- Contract Length: 3–6 months
- Rate: £32–£38 per hour (umbrella)
- Location: Leicestershire (office attendance required typically once a fortnight)
- Working Pattern: Primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings
