Are you an ambitious Senior Planner looking to take the next step in your career with a growing, forward-thinking consultancy? We’re working exclusively with a highly respected multi-disciplinary firm that’s expanding its Planning Team and seeking an experienced planner to help deliver major projects across the UK.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in managing complex development projects from inception through to completion, typically ranging from £250k to £25m in value. Working closely with in-house design teams, external architects, and consultants, you’ll oversee all aspects of the planning process — from pre-application to post-decision.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the planning process for multiple large-scale projects

Prepare, review, and sign off on planning reports and applications

Advise clients on planning strategies, policies, and regulations

Represent the consultancy at planning committees, public consultations, and stakeholder meetings

Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams and external consultants

Monitor and report on application progress, appeals, and compliance
About You

Degree in Geography, Urban Planning, or related field (2:1 or above)

Minimum 4 years’ experience in private sector planning (consultancy or developer)

Chartered RTPI membership or working towards it

Strong project management and communication skills

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
