Graduate Town Planner – Bristol

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for shaping places, creating sustainable communities and influencing the future of the built environment? I'm currently working with a well-established planning consultancy in Bristol who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Graduate Town Planner to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into the planning industry, gaining hands-on experience and working alongside experienced planning professionals on a diverse range of projects.

The Role

As a Graduate Town Planner, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Undertake planning research and prepare planning policy appraisals.
• Support the preparation of planning statements and reports.
• Liaise with local planning authorities, clients and other consultants.
• Assist with a variety of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Develop your knowledge of the UK planning system and work towards professional accreditation with the RTPI.

About You

I'm keen to speak with candidates who:

• Hold a degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• Have a genuine interest in planning, development and the built environment.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Are organised, proactive and eager to learn.
• Can demonstrate good research and analytical skills.
• Are looking to develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment.

Previous experience is beneficial but certainly not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
