Job Title: Senior Town Planner
Location: London Salary: £35,000-£40,000

Duties for the role of Senior Town Planner:
- Managing a varied caseload of planning applications and development projects.
- Preparing planning statements, reports and supporting documentation.
- Providing strategic planning advice to clients, developers and landowners.
- Managing planning applications, appeals and pre-application submissions.
- Assessing development proposals against local and national planning policies.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, local authorities and external consultants.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Supporting junior planners and contributing to the wider team's development.
- Identifying opportunities to develop new client relationships and contribute to business growth.
Requirements for the role of Senior Town Planner:
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.
- Previous experience working within a planning consultancy or local authority.
- A strong understanding of the UK planning system, legislation and planning policy.
- Experience managing planning applications, appeals and development projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A confident and personable approach to client relationship management.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
