Associate Town Planner | Independent Planning Consultancy | Cheltenham
I'm currently working with an independent planning consultancy in Cheltenham who are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Associate Town Planner.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong reputation and an interesting pipeline of projects across the residential, commercial, agricultural and strategic land sectors.
They're looking for someone who can confidently manage projects, develop client relationships and play an active role in the continued growth of the business.
The Role:
- Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects.
- Leading on complex planning applications and appeals.
- Providing strategic planning advice to clients and developers.
- Preparing and reviewing planning statements and reports.
- Managing relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders.
- Supporting business development and identifying new opportunities.
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
What They're Looking For:
- MRTPI qualified.
- Strong experience within a planning consultancy environment.
- Excellent knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation.
- Proven ability to manage projects and client relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness and business development skills.
- Someone confident working autonomously and taking responsibility.
