Town Planning Consultant | Planning Consultancy | Oxford
I'm currently working with an exciting independent planning consultancy in Oxford who are looking to add an experienced Town Planning Consultant to their team.
The business has an excellent reputation within the industry and is continuing to grow its presence across the South East, working with a diverse range of clients on everything from residential developments and commercial schemes to strategic land promotion and major regeneration projects.
The Role:
- Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects.
- Preparing and submitting planning applications.
- Producing planning statements, appraisals and policy assessments.
- Advising clients on development opportunities and planning strategy.
- Liaising with local authorities, architects and other consultants.
- Supporting the delivery of projects from inception through to determination.
What They're Looking For:
- Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority.
- MRTPI qualified or actively working towards chartership.
- A good understanding of UK planning policy and legislation.
- Strong report-writing and communication skills.
- The ability to manage workloads and work independently.
- A commercially minded approach with an interest in client relationships.
The Package:
- Salary between £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience.
