Town Planner | Planning & Development Consultancy | Leeds
I'm currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity with an independent planning and development consultancy based in Leeds.
The business is looking to strengthen its planning team with the addition of a Town Planner who is keen to get involved in a varied workload and develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment.
Working with a range of private sector clients, you'll gain exposure to projects across residential, commercial, education and regeneration sectors.
The Role:
- Managing and assisting with a range of planning applications.
- Undertaking planning policy research and site appraisals.
- Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation.
- Liaising with local planning authorities and external consultants.
- Advising clients on planning opportunities and constraints.
- Supporting projects through the planning process from start to finish.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A degree in Town Planning or a relevant discipline.
- Experience working within a planning environment.
- Working towards MRTPI or already chartered.
- Good knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy.
- Confident communicator with strong report-writing skills.
- Motivated, organised and keen to progress.
