I'm currently working on an exciting Principal Planner contract opportunity with a well-established planning authority in the Midlands.

The team is dealing with a broad range of planning work, including:

• Major residential developments
• Strategic growth projects
• Large-scale infrastructure schemes
• Complex planning applications and appeals
• High-profile development management work

They're ideally looking for someone operating at Senior Planner or Principal Planner level who has experience handling major planning applications. Previous experience within a majors team would be beneficial, although strong development management planners with relevant experience will also be considered.

The opportunity offers:

- £50-£63 per hour (DOE)
- Flexible working arrangements
- Around 1 day per week in the office, or 2 days per fortnight
- The remainder of the work completed remotely
- Long-term contract potential
- Exposure to a varied and challenging caseload

There is a genuine need for experienced planners, with a number of major developments, strategic growth schemes and complex planning applications currently being progressed by the team.
