I’m currently working with a well-established planning consultancy who are looking to appoint an Experienced Town Planner to join their growing team in Hampshire.
This is a great opportunity for a planner with around 5 years’ experience who is looking to develop their career within a reputable consultancy, working across a varied portfolio of projects.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a range of planning work, including:
- Preparing and submitting planning applications
- Providing planning advice to clients
- Managing projects from inception through to determination
- Liaising with local authorities, clients and other consultants
- Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships
- Working alongside and supporting more junior planners
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Around 5 years’ planning experience
- Previous experience within a planning consultancy
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- RTPI accreditation or working towards MRTPI would be advantageous
