We’re currently working with a highly regarded planning consultancy who are looking to add a Graduate Planner to their growing team in the East of England.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent planning graduate looking to begin their career within the private sector, gaining exposure to a varied range of planning projects and working alongside experienced planners.
The Role
- Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications
- Assisting with planning appraisals and development proposals
- Undertaking research and policy analysis
- Liaising with clients, local authorities and other consultants
- Supporting senior members of the team across a range of projects
- Developing your professional planning knowledge and working towards RTPI accreditation
About You
- Degree/MSc in Town Planning or a related discipline
- Ideally RTPI-accredited or working towards RTPI accreditation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career within planning consultancy
- Organised, proactive and keen to learn
- Previous planning experience would be advantageous but is not essential
