I’m currently working with a highly reputable planning consultancy who are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Senior or Principal Town Planner based in Sheffield.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious planner looking to take the next step in their career, working across a varied portfolio of projects for a range of private-sector clients.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a broad range of planning projects, managing your own caseload while working closely with clients, colleagues and other consultants. Depending on your level of experience, there will also be opportunities to take on additional responsibility and support more junior members of the team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working within a planning consultancy
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system
- Experience managing planning applications and advising clients
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- MRTPI qualified or working towards it would be advantageous
- Commercially minded with a genuine interest in developing your career
- Candidates at Senior or Principal level will be considered
