A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Planning Director or Associate Director to join a highly regarded, nationwide planning consultancy as they continue to grow their presence across the Midlands.
My client is seeking a commercially focused and ambitious planning professional to take ownership of the regional planning function, with the opportunity to develop the team, drive business growth and play a key role in the future success of the company.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior planning professional looking for autonomy, influence and the chance to make a real impact within a successful and growing consultancy.
The Role
As Director, you will:
• Lead and expand the planning team across the Midlands region
• Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality planning advice across a variety of sectors and projects
• Recruit, mentor and develop a team of talented planners
• Work closely with the senior leadership team to support continued company growth
• Have a key voice in shaping the future direction and strategic plans of the business
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
• Significant experience within private sector town planning consultancy
• A strong track record of delivering planning projects successfully
• Experience leading teams, managing clients and developing business opportunities
• A commercially minded approach with excellent communication skills
• RTPI membership
