Planning Enforcement Team Leader

Scale 6 £39,862 – £44,075 per annum (Pay Award Pending)

Plus £5,000 Market Supplement * per annum 

37 hours per week 

Permanent Role

 

Our planning team is growing, and we are looking to recruit an experienced Planning Enforcement manager to lead and develop a proactive enforcement service within the District.  

This is an exciting time to join our team – we will be launching our Local Plan shortly, which demonstrates that there will be substantial growth within the District, and may offer further opportunities in the future for career progression.

You will be team player, used to managing a varied caseload.  You will need extensive knowledge and experience of planning enforcement as you will be dealing with complex enforcement cases, monitoring sites, serving formal notices and preparing matters for court.  In additional to this, you will need to possess strong communication, negotiation and report writing skills.  

You will have the opportunity to shape this service to deliver on its goals, with full support.
