Interim Senior Planner & Principal Planner Opportunities

North West England | £45–£50 per Hour | Hybrid Working | 6-Month Initial Contract

I'm currently working with a number of Local Authority clients across the North West who are looking to appoint experienced Senior Planners and Principal Planners on an interim basis.

These opportunities sit within busy Development Management teams, offering the chance to work on a varied portfolio of complex and major planning applications, including strategic residential and commercial developments. Initial contracts are for 6 months, with strong potential for extension. Similar interim opportunities in the region commonly focus on major applications and hybrid working arrangements.

What's on offer?

• £45–£50 per hour (DOE)

• Hybrid working – just 1 day in the office every 2–3 weeks

We're looking to speak with planners who have:

• Recent UK Local Authority Development Management experience
• Experience managing complex and major planning applications
• Strong working knowledge of planning legislation and policy
• Planning Committee experience
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
