Midlands | Hybrid Working | Major Applications & PPAs
A Midlands-based Local Authority is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Planning Officer to support the Development Management team on a range of major applications and PPA schemes.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy and supportive team handling a varied caseload of strategic and complex developments, with a strong pipeline of major applications currently in progress.
Key Details:
• Initial 6-month contract
• Competitive hourly rate DOE
• Hybrid working – office attendance required once per week
• Midlands-based Local Authority
• Flexible interview process
The successful candidate will have:
• Extensive Development Management experience within a UK Local Authority
• Strong background dealing with major applications and complex caseloads
• Experience managing PPA developments and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work autonomously and manage applications through to determination
• MRTPI preferred but not essential
