A Local Authority in the South East is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Planning Policy Officer to support their Planning Policy function on an interim basis, You’ll be supporting the team across a range of policy work, helping to drive forward key planning policy projects and contribute to the authority’s wider strategic planning objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supporting planning policy preparation and development
-Assisting with Local Plan and evidence base work
-Preparing reports, policy documents, and consultation material
-Providing technical planning policy advice where required
