About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join a dynamic and growing property development and planning consultancy based in Northampton. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, rural, commercial, and mixed-use projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support planning applications from inception through to determination
- Prepare planning appraisals, statements, and supporting documentation
- Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants
- Provide strategic planning advice to clients
- Monitor planning policy changes and assess their impact on projects
- For senior candidates: lead projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development
About You
- Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
- MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
- Proven experience in a planning role (private or public sector)
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
