Job Title: Associate Director – Planning (London)
My client is a well-established and forward-thinking planning consultancy seeking an Associate Director to join their London-based Planning team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use development schemes.
The team works with a broad range of high-profile clients, including major landowners, developers, housebuilders, and commercial operators, supporting the delivery of complex and high-value projects that help shape the built environment.
The Role
As Associate Director, you will:
- Take responsibility for leading and contributing to major and complex planning projects, or managing a varied portfolio of smaller commissions
- Play an active role in generating and securing new business, alongside delivering profitable work
- Support senior leadership in driving the growth and performance of the planning team
- Contribute to a collaborative, established, and growing consultancy environment
- Be supported in your ongoing professional development and career progression
About You
To be successful in this role, you will likely have:
- A proactive, motivated approach with the ability to think strategically and contribute to business growth
- Energy, creativity, and a positive, collaborative attitude
- A proven track record of winning new work at Associate Director level or equivalent
- Strong connections within the London planning market and an established professional network

- MRTPI chartered status
