Fraser Recruitment is partnering with a highly respected network of planning, design, and rural consultancies to appoint an Associate Director – Town Planning for their growing Manchester office.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious senior planner to join a multi-office consultancy group with an excellent reputation, strong pipeline of work, and genuine growth plans across the North West.

The Opportunity

As Associate Director, you will play a key role in growing the North West presence, leading projects, developing client relationships, and helping shape the future direction of the office.

You will:

• Lead major planning projects
• Manage appeals and HLS work
• Provide strategic planning advice
• Support and mentor junior staff
• Generate and convert new business opportunities
• Act as Expert Witness where appropriate

About You

You are likely to be:

• MRTPI qualified
• 10+ years in private consultancy
• Commercially aware and client-facing
• Experienced in appeals / HLS work
• Comfortable leading projects independently
• Keen to step into a genuine leadership role
