The Role:
As Associate Director, you’ll play a key role in both project delivery and team leadership. Responsibilities will include:
- Building and strengthening relationships with clients and industry contacts to generate new opportunities
- Leading on the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals, from smaller schemes through to major developments
- Representing projects at planning committees, hearings, and public inquiries
- Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient delivery
- Driving forward strategic land promotion work, including involvement in Local Plan examinations
- Developing planning strategies to overcome challenges and achieve successful outcomes for clients
- Overseeing project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including cross-selling services
- Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior team members
- Playing an active role in the continued growth and success of the business
