I’m currently working on behalf of a highly respected, multi-disciplinary property and planning consultancy to recruit a Senior Town Planner for their growing London team.

The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects across residential, commercial, and rural sectors. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and delivering planning applications and appeals

• Providing strategic planning advice to a broad client base

• Supporting senior colleagues on complex and high-value projects

• Preparing high-quality planning reports and documentation

• Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients

• Contributing to business development and client relationships

About You

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Be Chartered (MRTPI) or working towards chartership

• Have solid experience within town planning, ideally within a consultancy environment

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the UK planning system

• Possess excellent communication and report-writing skills

• Be commercially aware with a proactive approach to project delivery

• Have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
