Carrington West are pleased to be partnered with a leading private planning consultancy based in Central London is looking to appoint a Planner or Senior Planner to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated planning professional with 2-6 years' experience to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong focus on restaurant and leisure applications across London and the wider UK.
The Role
You will be involved in a wide range of planning work, including:
·Preparing and submitting planning applications
·Managing projects from inception through to determination
·Advising clients on planning strategy and development potential
·Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders
·Supporting senior team members on complex schemes
About You
·2-6 years' experience in a planning role
·Background in the private sector consultancy environment
·Proven experience working on restaurant / food and beverage applications - this is important.
·Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·MRTPI (or working towards) is desirable
