An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Town Planner to join one of London’s leading town planning consultancies, based in a Central London office.
This role is ideal for a motivated planner with 6 months – 2 years of experience who is looking to develop their career within a highly respected consultancy known for delivering high-profile planning projects across London and the UK.
You will join a talented and supportive team, gaining exposure to a wide range of planning work while working alongside some of the industry’s most experienced planning professionals.
The Role
As an Assistant Town Planner, you will:
• Support senior planners on a variety of planning projects
• Assist with the preparation of planning applications, reports and planning statements
• Undertake site appraisals and planning research
• Liaise with local authorities, clients and consultants
• Gain exposure to projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
• 6 months – 2 years experience in town planning
• Experience from either the private sector or public sector
• A relevant planning degree
• A strong understanding of the UK planning system
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Ambition to build a long-term career within planning consultancy
