A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Director or Associate Director to join an award-winning, nationwide planning consultancy as they expand their presence in the South West of England.
My client is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded planning professional to lead and grow their regional offering, with the autonomy to build and develop a successful team.
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy and play a key strategic role in shaping the future growth of the business.
The Role
As Director, you will:
• Lead and grow the planning offering in the South West
• Build and recruit your own team of planners
• Develop new business opportunities and manage key client relationships
• Deliver high-quality planning advice across a wide range of projects
• Work closely with the senior leadership team to drive the business forward
• Sit at the top table of Directors, contributing to the company’s 5-year strategic growth plan
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
• Strong experience within private sector town planning consultancy
• Proven leadership or team management experience (or readiness to step into a Director role)
• Excellent client relationship and business development skills
• A strong track record delivering planning projects
• RTPI membership
