Ready to progress into a Director-level role or are you a Director already, seeking a new challenge within the town planning sector?

Our client has an enviable track record of managing landmark projects across the residential, commercial, retail and industrial and logistics sectors. With rich sector led project pipelines ready to be managed, this is a rare opportunity to attain a Director-level role without the necessity to bring clients of your own.

They have a well-established Planning team in London which is at the forefront of their service offering and experience continued success through strong client and project stake-holder relationships and consistent excellent standards of delivery.

This is a flexible role with an accommodating, social and well-connected team that are highly poised for significant growth. You could capitalise on this opportunity to lead and grow a team of your own as you accelerate towards a senior leadership position, with the backing of a very reputable brand.

You will be offered support in your development with the opportunity to build your network with existing clients, whilst generating new business in your sector of choice.

You will be involved in (among other responsibilities):

  • Leading major projects, assisting in delegating and starting to take on leadership role
  • Continuing to maintain relationships with clients in providing accurate advice and communicating effectively
  • Dealing with pre-apps and manage planning applications through the development process
  • Communicating and negotiating with clients, stakeholders and local regularly
  • Business development and working up your own client base, or bringing your own
  • Attending meetings for Planning Committee, Consultations and similar events in representation of both the Company and clients through the planning process
  • Mentoring and helping to manage junior team members​

You will ideally:

  • Have at least 10 years within planning - ideally in consultancy
  • Strong development management skillset and expertise
  • Be MRTPI or equivalent
  • Be a strong communicator with excellent written work
